Over 60% of all artists performing at the 23rd Annual Blue Mountains Music Festival are women, and we think that’s worth celebrating! Highly acclaimed audience favourites Missy Higgins, Kate Miller-Heidke and Vikki Thorn (The Waifs) are headlining this year’s much-anticipated festival.

They are supported by an incredible group of female performers that include – Sydney based supergroup All Our Exes Live in Texas, emerging Irish star SON (Susan O’Neill), queens of U.K folk Chris While & Julie Matthews, Nashville 5-string fiddle player and singer Rachel Baiman (10 String Symphony), sublime U.K vocalist Josienne Clarke, N.Z indie/folk star Mel Parsons, songster and beat keeper Carla Robinson (Hat Fitz and Cara), Noongar woman Gina Williams who uses her incandescent voice to sing in language, award winning Aboriginal and Torres Strait composer and performer Jessie Lloyd who will be joined by Deline Briscoe, Emma Donovan, and Jessica Hitchcock for Mission Songs Project.

Australian songwriting gem Melanie Horsnell, Melbourne folk/pop/punk artist Alana Wilkinson, cello-wielding songstress Monique Clare, local singer-songwriter Linda Mizzi and sisters Mabel and Ivy Windred-Wornes who as Charm of Finches perform contemporary folk music for star gazing.
