Isobel Knight

Isobel Knight writes and plays songs where the venn diagram circles of Julia Jacklin and Bruce Springsteen cross over. Growing from playing cafes and street corners in her hometown on Dharug country in the Blue Mountains to playing shows and festival slots around the world, her heart-stopping voice, ear-worm melodies and lyricism have carried her pop-and-soul-influenced folk music into hearts and charts, with her sophomore "Here Now" debuting at #5 in the independent album charts.

She's been called a Metronome Magazine (US) 'Act To Watch', a Quadio (US) Artist of The Day.

Knight has opened for Jordan Ireland (former frontman of ausfolk legends The Middle East), Grace Cummings, Kerryn Fields and Lisa Mitchell, as well as performing at Dashville’s ‘The Gum Ball’, Blue Mountains Music Festival, Modstock (US), Porchfest (US) and Illawarra Folk Festival, among others.

After touring Australia in April 2023, and the USA in June and July, including a residency with Crabtree Sessions and showcases from LA to Long Island, Isobel in 2024 has opened for Fanny Lumsden on her Country Halls Tour, been a finalist in the Needle in The Hay Songwriting contest and played across the country with her band Post.
